The East and West Nishnabotna Watershed Coalition is moving forward with developing a watershed management and flood resiliency plan for the East Nishnabotna River Watershed and for the West Nishnabotna River Watershed. Each plan will aim to identify solutions to reduce the impacts of flooding and improve water quality within the watershed. To help guide the development of each plan, a group of stakeholders from each watershed have been assembled. The stakeholder groups consist of local landowners, citizens, and nonprofits.
