11:45-4:30 Lunch and Project Bus Tour (open to the public)
Kacena Farms, 2510 55th St., Vinton, IA
Please Join Us! As we near the end of the Iowa Watershed Approach, we look forward to gathering in-person to celebrate the positive impacts we have had on our landscape and the people within our watersheds and communities. The partner meeting will include a morning panel discussion for IWA partners, watershed coordinators, and local Middle Cedar River Watershed stakeholders. After the morning meeting, a catered lunch will be open to everyone followed by a project bus tour. The day will conclude by 4:30 pm.
Thank you for your interest in attending this event, registration is now closed!
DIRECTIONS: There is a road closure occurring on the west side of Urbana. If driving North on I-380, please take exit 43 (second Urbana exit), and then Hwy 150 South.
Media and elected officials are invited to attend the tour. Event organizers include: IEDA, Iowa Flood Center, ISU, WHKS, and local Middle Cedar River Watershed stakeholders.
We look forward to gathering in-person! However, we know things can change abruptly with the pandemic. In-person gatherings will follow CDC recommended guidelines, and any changes in plans will be communicated in advance of the event. We are not planning for virtual participation. Individuals with disabilities or needing special accommodations can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 319-335-5233.
