Open House Meetings, East and West Nishnabotna Watershed Management Coalition Release Information Regarding Watershed Management and Flood Resiliency Plans

Landowners and residents of the East and West Nishnabotna River watersheds are invited to attend an open house to learn more about the East and West Nishnabotna Watershed Management Coalition’s recent efforts to develop watershed management and flood resiliency plans. These plans will help guide flood resiliency and water quality improvement projects within the watersheds for the next five to 15 years.

There are three open house meetings scheduled, and members of the public are encouraged to attend the most convenient meeting. Two meetings will be held on April 23, 2019, at the Bricker Room (400 W Sheridan Avenue, Shenandoah, IA 51601) from 12:00-2:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. The other open house will be held on April 25, 2019, at the Therkildsen Activity Center (706 Victoria Street, Harlan, IA 51537-0650) from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
