The City of Dubuque will hold a media conference at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Dubuque Area Labor Harvest, 423 W. Locust Street, to discuss the $96.9 U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) National Disaster Resilience Competition Grant awarded to the state of Iowa.

Dubuque Mayor Roy D. Buol will host the event and speakers will include Jessica Turba, Executive Officer, Iowa Homeland Security & Emergency Management; Ann Schmid, Historic Preservations Specialist/Housing Project Manager, Iowa Economic Development Authority; Dr. Craig Just, Assistant Professor and Assistant Faculty Research Engineer, University of Iowa Flood Center; Deron Muehring, Civil Engineer, City of Dubuque; and Alvin Nash, Housing & Community Development Director, City of Dubuque.
