Partnerships help the Iowa Watershed Approach succeed

No one organization in Iowa can implement the entire IWA program alone. The IWA’s success depends on collaboration among many partners statewide who helped to create the program and the many more working to develop and implement its many components.

Larry manages the activities and responsibilities of the Iowa Flood Center related to the IWA. Larry is also professor of civil and environmental engineering and the executive associate dean of engineering at the University of Iowa.

Breanna assists with communications and outreach for the Iowa Watershed Approach and serves as an effective and knowledgeable liaison between Iowa Flood Center researchers, IWA partners, and external partners.

Flood Resilience Program Lead
Craig manages the resilience activities carried out for the Iowa Watershed Approach. Craig is also a member of the Water Sustainability Initiative at the University of Iowa and an assistant professor for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

IWA Communications Specialist
Kate leads outreach, communication, and research activities for the Iowa Watershed Approach at the Iowa Flood Center and serves as liaison between IIHR researchers, IWA partners, and external stakeholders.
